  • Responsibilities within the polyclinic are vast as it provides me with the opportunity to manage the General Practitioner Unit at various times
  • Management of foot care, wound care and lacerations
  • Asthma care is a high priority within the clinic as many of these are seen daily
  • This medical establishment allows for emergency nursing skills and knowledge to be administered to ill clients
  • The administering of medication is essential within the polyclinic
  • In the clinic the medical care ranges from simple cough and cold to dealing with sudden death
  • Successfully completed the Diploma in Midwifery program which included antenatal, postnatal and intrapartum care
  • On returning to work from the program I have had the privilege of improving my skills and knowledge while working in antenatal and postnatal clinics.
  • I work with mentoring and educating nursing students who are assigned to the polyclinic.
