Summary

During my internship as a social worker, I had the privilege of working with older adults across various communities in Barbados. Despite their age, they remained youthful at heart. I applied the skills I acquired at the University of the West Indies, such as active listening, interviewing, and crisis intervention, in real-life scenarios.

Additionally, I volunteered briefly as a counselor at Drug Education and Counseling Services, where I assisted youth in transforming their lives for a brighter future.
