
With a proven track record in the food and beverage industry, I have consistently excelled in every role undertaken. Starting from the ground up, I have worked my way to the top, now leading a team of 126 members, including bar porters, cocktail servers, bartenders, and six supervisors. My meticulous attention to detail ensures that timelines are met and results are achieved all executed with high empathy and respect for all those involved. Recognizing the importance of succession planning, I prioritize the development of those who come after me , often showing many strategies to them whilst leading the way.Punctuality and a well-structured approach to time management are integral parts of my work ethic.
Ensuring alcoholic beverages are kept well-stocked and organized to meet expected demands; Assisting cocktail servers with specialty drink orders by preparing on-demand items without delay; Cultivation of a loyal customer base by delivering exceptional service experiences, resolving complaints promptly and soliciting feedback for continuous improvement efforts; Collaboration with the Bar Manager in setting Departmental targets, budgeting forecasting and expense control measures; Overseeing of 120 line team members (bartenders, cocktail servers, bar porters) and six (6) Supervisors within a 618 room operation.I spearhead our operation on a day to day basis whether it be on the floor or remotely when it demands such. I schedule 120 members effectively. I also lead 6 supervisors who report directly to me. I love to be hands on in the operation as my peers often say to me however i am very proficient in the administrative section as well. I create training materials and also conduct said trainings as i an a certified department trainer. Approval status is required by myself for oracle operations. My correspondence extends way beyond the internal team as i frequently meet with outside contractors and plan on how to resolve ongoing conflicts for both operations with least companies affected .e.g. Coke, Ecolab, Banks, various suppliers etc. I conduct interviews in recruitment process, evaluations for supervisors whilst overviewing those completed by them for the line team members , create performance plans, managing of daily budget and monthly, overseeing the payroll process often assisting or completing if the administrator is absent, creating programs for team morale uplift , coaching and progressive discipline. Managing if the monthly check book to procure effective glassware, small appliances, chemicals and stationary along with Capex projection for the year. Fluent in the inventory process.I lead the bars for banquets whether in house guest or non residential all whilst running 17 bar locations, 7 pools and a extreme stretch of beach. I am compassionate and wealth of knowledge to apply. Im also a member of the disciplinary committee in Human Resources where i assist in decisions for infractions committed by team members. Member of the social club which plans events for the team members while gaining positive revenue to achieve more for the said team. I conduct inspections of locations, spot checks of pars, collaboration with every department as all beverages come through my team. Responsible for succession plans as i am a grave product of such. I also lead strategic surprise cleaning operations with my overnight porters as i have excelled in that area and eager to pass my knowledge to others whom i often inspire. Often finding endings to situations escalated to me as critical thinker. Meticulous attention to detail whilst achieving the necessary goals through clear communication , knowledge and experience. Most of all food and beverage operations give me such a joy that this is more of a fulfillment than a job. I am in full control of the operation in the presence of my immediate manager or in his absence as my presence is required in his absence and vice versa.
