I was a career banker with 26 years’ experience, 10 years with Barclays Bank and 16 years with CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank. My experience includes Retail Banking, Marketing (Branding), Cheque Processing, Records Management, Process Review and Documentation, Project Management, general Banking Operations and Vendor Management. During the period of the merger of Barclays and CIBC Caribbean Ltd I was fortunate to be chosen to be a member of the Integration Team. The Integration Team had overall responsibility for all aspects of the merger which included banking operations, legal and regulatory requirements and human resource management decisions. During my career I have been an individual contributor as well as a manager of local and distributed teams.
